What is a fitness and weight loss bootcamp?
This fitness and weight loss bootcamp is a five or seven day outdoor fitness program that includes top notch fitness instruction, nutritional coaching, life coaching and motivational training, all designed to get you in the best shape of your life regardless of your current fitness level. Unlike other camps you also get the benefit of specialised instructors for kick boxing, thai boxing, boxing, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, mountain biking etc so there is no way you will get bored.
What if I'm not very physically fit?
No one will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Whether you have five or fifty pounds to lose, or haven’t exercised for years, you’ll find that this fitness and weight loss bootcamp is just the program for you! Women of all ages, abilities and fitness levels regularly attend this unique fitness and weight loss bootcamp and achieve incredible results. 
We have a location for this Bootcamp & weight loss retreat in The New Forest in Hampshire close to Bournemouth and Southampton airports and train stations.
What does the fitness and weight loss bootcamp consist of?
Participants meet every day for up to six hours of physical training, in the morning it is hiking, power walking, functional training and core workouts - unlike military style boot camps the afternoon exercise programme consists of different exercise routines such as kayaking, kick boxing, surfing and mountain biking - these activities are also designed around losing weight. In addition to the training there will be nutritionist and chef in attendance for 1-2-1 consultations, short cookery classes and preparation of all meals.
The training consists of exercises that are designed to make you stronger and healthier. We cover power walking, jogging, interval training, press ups, squats, lunges, crunches, stretching, boxing and just about anything that will keep you motivated and get results while having fun and it is very much like personal fitness training. A lot of the exercises in this fitness and weight loss bootcamp have been designed for you to get the best possible results. (also available are beauty treatments - these can be booked at camp and are payable at an additional cost directly to the therapist)
Will I get bored at bootcamp?
Unlike other fitness and weight loss bootcamps or training sessions that are set in parks or at the beach, Fitwoman Bootcamp has a licence for the use of the New Forest, Ringwood in Hampshire. This setting is beautiful countryside where we have a huge variety of different routes, so every session will always be different and you get to see everything from hares to deer to pheasants. You won't find another fitness and weight loss bootcamp in the UK that has as many varied routes as this one does or as beautiful.
Fit Woman Bootcamp works with specialist instructors in sports and activities such as kick boxing, surfing, kayaking and boxing ....this is a first for UK bootcamps.
What do I need to bring for bootcamp?
We provide all the equipment, motivation, and accountability you need. Just bring running/trail shoes, lightweight breathable waterproofs, fleece, dri fit tee shirts and a sense of adventure! There is no unsuitable weather just unsuitable clothing, so we run the boot camp regardless of whether it is raining or snowing!
What does it cost to join bootcamp?
Prices vary from £697 for a weekend up to £997 based on sharing with one other - remember this is a results based fitness bootcamp programme where it is based on you getting results, having fun and learning how to keep yourself fit and healthy. What would you pay to lose a stone of excess weight, have a blast, feel like a new person and make new friends?
What can I expect to achieve at bootcamp?
Up to 10-14 pounds weight loss on the 7 day course, up to 8 pounds on the 5 day course - 2-5" off your waist, 2-5% drop in bodyfat, dramatically improved fitness and an increase in energy and improved sense of well being :) These are all very much the norm when taking part in this fitness and weight loss bootcamp. Part of the programme here is to educate you on how to lose stubborn fat without lowering your metabolism which is what normally happens with a lot of weight loss bootcamps, you will learn about the importance of protein, strength training and High intensity interval training. The trick is to lose fat and build a little bit of muscle. Nb (It is important to note that with some people muscle can be gained on the bootcamp and fat lost - in this case the scales won't show the whole story. This is why we take circumferential measurements as well as bodyfat measurements)
How is this bootcamp different from other fitness bootcamps?
Fitwoman bootcamp is a women’s only fitness program designed to get you in the best shape of your life in a fun and motivating atmosphere. You experience the support of like minded people. Unlike military style bootcamps all our trainers are experienced PT's and non miltary -you won’t encounter intimidation or overcrowding as we limit ourfit camps to a maximum of fifteen women. We have full and complete 1-2-1 nutritional consultations, cookery workshops, life coaching, mountain biking, kayaking, rope courses and much more.
How do I pay for the training sessions?
To secure your place on the programme payment is by a debit or credit card deposit of 25% with full payment required eight weeks prior to the start of your fitness and weight loss bootcamp Once payment has been received you will be emailed your information pack and given your start date. There is a 2% surcharge if paying by credit cards.

Who is behind the Fitwoman bootcamps?
Spencer Cuckney who has over 20 years’ experience helping women just like you get fit and lean, former personal trainer to Harry Redknapp (premiership football manager) partner to the Bodydoctor the London based celebrity personal trainer who helped the likes of Kate Moss and Sophie Dahl get into shape. His speciality is training women to become fit and lean for life.
Nb - If your goal is to develop fitness and lose weight in a short space of term then the best way to do this is to constantly challenge your self mentally and physically. The only way to do this is to try totally different activities that require a completely different set of motor skills - with this boot camp programme all the activities are designed to do this.
